Squarespace suggested I tell you my origin story.

Well, you see, electricity prices have just gone up, so writing steamy romance sounds like a lovely way to keep warm.

I’ve been writing books for as long as I can remember, mostly fantasy and science fiction. My heroines are mostly awkward, neurodivergent and shy. Well, they say to write what you know. And I love that moment when a shy person finally stands up for themselves and puts their foot down.

All my heroines are going to have powers. Many of them are also probably going to have a traumatic backstory. We’re back in “write what you know” territory again. I will try to be sensitive in dealing with these issues and I’ll put warnings in the front of the books so you can decide if this one is for you. I’ll keep the traumatic backstory off the page because we want to see people moving forward and their journey towards healing and love.

I promise a happy ever after in my books. I promise a hero who loves the heroine with his whole heart. I promise that they will find a happy home and a community in the end.
